Pause for a moment

Hello
Happy Terrific Tuesday. How are you and your family? I hope all is well
I was pondering the importance of gratitude and wanted to share my thoughts with you.
Are you living in gratitude?
Living in Gratitude is not a new age phenomena. Being thankful for what you have and for what's to come attracts more of what you desire into your life. It's that simple but we complicate our lives because of our limiting beliefs.
NO! It's not manipulation. It's how the Universe responds to the energy of GRATITUDE. When you live in gratitude amazing things happen. I can hear you asking "then why do bad things happen to me?"
As physical beings there's a lot that we control and a lot that we don't control But one thing remains constant: You can't always control the actions of others but you're ALWAYS in control of yours, even when you're *&^^%@ off. You're in control of your shadow self. You don't have to accept or follow the advice of your negative thoughts.
When "bad things happen" look for the life lesson and what you should be thankful for. It's always there.
When I was diagnosed with 3rd stage breast cancer 9 years ago, I had a lot to be thankful for. I didn't focus on cancer, I focused on my granddaughter who was a few months old. Even when I felt nauseous, I willed my self to babysit because her mom and dad had to work. They didn't want me to because of my challenge BUT I told them this was part of the healing.
My life lesson: There's value in traditional and non-traditional medicine. I was once a "natural medicine snob."
After a month of attempting to heal myself, the same voice that told me I had cancer, told me to add traditional medicine. I listened. And my source, traditional and non traditional medicine, my mindset, support of family and friends contributed to my healing.
And here I'm today, happy and healthy, reminding you to live a life of gratitude.
Pause for a moment
- What are you unhappy with in your life today? Look closely for something to be grateful for, it's there.
- Tell someone you're thankful for having him/her in your life.
- Give thanks for the significant and the insignificant.
- The big and the small.
- The ordinary and extraordinary.
- Weave giving thanks into the fabric of your everyday life.
- Write down 3 things you're grateful for every night.
Give thanks on a regular basis and your life will be affected in a positive way.
